An easy way to diagnose a bad fuel pump switch is to test the terminal or wire coming from the fuel pump output of the ecu. The ecu switch's to ground and there should be an extremely low level of voltage at this location if any at all, if your multi meter picks up anything it will be in the millivolt (MV) range of the meter. If you are getting a battery voltage such as 12v+ then this is usually the issue.

Part is to be installed with the writing facing the front label of the ecu case in the QM1 location.

There are MANY factors when diagnosing an ecu and MANY components in each circuit. No repair, replacement, or advice is a guarantee. If you are wanting us to diagnose and attempt repair on an ecu please CLICK HERE
