Shipping / Order Policy:
Billing and Shipping Address MUST MATCH.
All shipping options offered and/or selected at checkout are in addition to our standard processing and handling time of up to 2 business days once your order has been received. Unless otherwise noted, every order placed is subject to processing and handling.
International Customers outside of the US have an average processing time of 2-5 Business days in most cases.
Drop Ship orders not fulfilled directly at Burton Racing's facility have an average processing time of 2-5 Business days in most cases. You have the right to contact us to check the items location before ordering.
Orders shipping outside of the 48 states via USPS Ground Advantage can take an average of 15 days regardless of USPS time estimates, please resort to Priority Mail options if you intend to use USPS.
NEVER make a purchase from Burton Racing if you have a scheduled track, dyno or other appointment. We are in no way responsible for loss of deposit or any other financial issue. Our estimates are non-binding and no ETA given is a guarantee.
It is not wise to select USPS Ground Advantage on high value orders/items. Always use UPS or Fedex when possible especially when shipping an ECU.
Navidium Protection ONLY covers the cost of your order, it does NOT cover any items you shipped in for service. If you need to insure your ecu from your location to our facility add insurance to your package when you ship it to Burton Racing. If you need insurance on your ecu from our facility to your location add our Insurance Protection. Both of these are individual line items on your order and are NOT the same. To fully protect your order for both items purchased, and items shipped in for service, you will need to purchase both protections.
Burton Racing is an FOB Origin Business and we are not responsible for packages/orders once they are physically received by the shipping carrier. Once a package is shipped/dropped off with the shipping carrier Burton Racing can not be held responsible for lost or delayed items. No refunds can/will be issued for shipping charges due to lost or delayed items. The shipping charge is paid directly to the shipping carrier and is not able to be refunded by Burton Racing. If there is an issue with your shipped items, we will always suggest you contact the shipping carrier first to file a claim for packages that may be lost, delayed, or arrive with damaged packaging. If the package arrives damaged you will need pictures of the packaging before and after unboxing. Otherwise noted in the shipping policy, feel free to contact us at sales@burton-racing.com for any other shipping inquiries.
PO Boxes: You may be responsible for increased costs associated with shipping to a PO box. Many shipping carriers charge higher rates for large or bulky items that physically cannot fit in a PO box and must be held for the customer in a different area. The "free shipping" option does not apply to orders placed for large or bulky items that physically cannot fit in a PO box. In the event that you place an order that includes a large or bulky item being shipped to a PO box, you will be contacted to either: a) pay the difference in shipping cost or b) provide a different address for your order to be shipped to.
Customers are responsible for shipping costs if an item is returned to sender for any reason. Proof of address may be requested to reship the item. Failure to repay shipping or duties will result in a restock procedure.
Please note: The "Free Shipping" option may not be available to Puerto Rico, Alaska, Hawaii, or any of the United States Outlying Islands depending on the size of your order. When placing your order, you may still be able to select the "Free Shipping" option, however, your order may not be shipped until we have contacted you and invoiced you for the actual cost of shipping to your area. "Free Shipping" does not apply to freight items.
Drop Shipping: Burton Racing strives to keep many items in-stock and on our shelves, however, we may be required to drop ship some items of your order. In this case, our 2 business day processing and handling period may be extended, if a product is no longer in stock, on a back-order, or pre-order status we will do our best to notify you in a timely manner. When drop shipping, we select the fastest and most economically similar option available from the manufacturer to your location. Certain shipping options/carriers may not be available from the manufacturer. If you paid for shipping and that option is not offered by the manufacturer we will select a comparable option. If you require a specific shipping method, please contact us before placing you order. Additional shipping costs may be incurred. Third-Party Carriers and Freight Companies: We HIGHLY advise against utilizing a third-party carrier or freight company to forward your package for delivery overseas. In our experience, packages often get lost or misplaced at the hands of these third-parties. If you utilize a third-party carrier, we are unable to provide any support for a lost or stolen package once it is marked 'delivered' at their facility. Navidium Shipping Protection does NOT protect packages being delivered to a third-party carrier. USPS also explicitly does not provide support for claims regarding packages delivered to third-party carriers.
You wave the right to open a charge back if your package is lost at a freight forwarder. If the shipment is marked delivered then you agree it was delivered regardless of a freight forwarder's accusation.
We reserve the right to require a signature confirmation upon delivery. If your shipping address is located in a multi-family or business park/complex (i.e. an apartment, condominium, duplex, etc.) signature confirmation may be required and it is your responsibility to be available when the package is scheduled to be delivered. You will receive a notification via the tracking information if signature confirmation applies to your order. This decision is based on the value, items, or delivery location.
Burton Racing reserves the right to cancel any order and will do so if billing and shipping address do not match or when a customer cannot confirm identity.
*Orders are processed Monday-Friday. MOST orders placed before 9:00 AM EST Monday-Friday for in stock items (please see below for "In Stock" status) will be shipped within 2 business days for domestic orders and 2-5 days for orders shipped internationally in most cases. No orders are processed or shipped on Sundays, Federal US holidays, or observed dates. These dates do not count as "business days". Orders placed after normal business hours will be processed on the following business day. We reserve the right to have a processing and handling time in extreme cases and even longer than estimations when fulfilling drop ship orders where the processing time is out of our control.
What does "In Stock" mean on our website? The in stock status shown on items listed means we either have the item here at our facility, or the item is in stock at the manufacturers warehouse. We also leave specific items such as pre-order's or items requiring payment before manufacturing listed as in stock to allow payment for said items. Any item that is subject to a pre-order or a lengthy ETA will have this noted within the item description and should be duly noted. Burton Racing runs internal status checks with manufactures quarterly, as a smaller company we do our best to insure our "In Stock" status is legitimate however this is not a guarantee. We HIGHLY recommend customers contact us to confirm item availability for any orders with tight time frame requirements so we can assist in the best possible outcome.
Burton Racing is not responsible for the accuracy of pricing or stock status and we hold the right to cancel any and all orders made with errored information. Any pricing, delivery dates, restock dates, or availability are non binding.
Important:
The customer is directly responsible for all of the following shipping actions, Burton Racing will not refund or replace any parts and/or purchases if the customer fails to do any of the following.
Address: The customer is 100% responsible for inputting the correct address into our website or other sales channels. We can not and will not change or modify a shipment once it has been shipped. If you input the incorrect address for either shipping or billing you individually accept the risk of the shipment not making it to the desired location.
Insurance: If you deny Navidium Shipping Protection or Insurance Protection, you individually accept the risk of any lost or damaged packages. We, Burton Racing do our due diligence by automatically selecting and enabling Navidium, you must physically click to deny this insurance. When doing so you waive all rights to have a refund or replacement for your parts/packages. Need Insurance on an item you are shipping to us? Insure it at the time of your shipment to our location and purchase Insurance Protection in or store at the time of checkout. Navidium Protection and Insurance Protection are two different protections, if you need information on this please reach out before your order.
Shipping Method: If you do not select a shipping method we will use the most economical solution. If you need certain shipments to be sent by a specific carrier and/or service you individually must select that service at checkout. If you opt for free shipping you waive all rights to Burton Racing accepting responsibility for any discrepancies or mishandling by the shipping carrier.
Labor Policy:
Burton Racing performs all labor to the best of current ability and steadfastly given current conditions and/or demands. Our average labor times are currently 3-5 business days based on the type of labor being performed. Labor times are subject to change given current shop work load, conditions and/or seasonal demands. Our average labor times do not include processing and shipping time.
Burton Racing can not be held responsible for any secondary items shipped with the ECU or parts intended for services/labor. This includes: personal items used for packing material, additional hardware (i.e. ecu, hondata, cop, demon, etc.), or any items that were not requested to be sent.
