ECU Board Cleaning Service

This service only covers the PCB electronics board, if you need the casing cleaned/media blasted in addition to this service please contact us.

This Service can be used as an add on with another  ECU service or be used independently to address corrosion and cleanliness concerns of your ecu. We will remove the entire computer board from the case, strip existing conformal coating and remove loose debris. We then strip back any present oxidation and corrosion on the PCB surface, mask exposed areas, and add a fresh conformal coating layer to the entire PCB to renew your ecu.

The cleaning process can possibly remove inking from the PCB board in damaged areas where capacitors have leaked. All exposed tracers are recoated in green colored UV cured PCB mask. This mask has a green paint like appearance so please expect this in damaged areas once repairs are made and recoated as this is the actual protective layer.

Please note when removing old screws/nuts/bolts/etc. Rusty threads and corroded metal can cause the screw to be stripped or seized into the case. We do our best to remove each one with care however this is not enough to guarantee there will not be a screw or many that may require grinding, cutting, or another form or removal that allows us to extract the computer board. We do not take responsibility for any damaged screws or threads during this process. This service does not include removal of a stripped screw or it's thread repair if the screw is seized into the case. If you are concerned about or want to guarantee there will be no damaged screws or threads for your casing then please partially break all screws loose inside and outside the ecu before sending to our facility.

Typical labor time is 3-5 days based on our shops work load at the time of your ECU being delivered.
