Pro Youth - Full Face Helmet
The RaceQuip PRO Youth Helmet is an SFI 24.1-rated, full-face auto racing helmet that incorporates contemporary styling with a smaller shell for youth racers. The FRP Composite shell is hand-laid to achieve a balance between lightweight and strength. Reinforced M6 threaded HANS/HNR inserts are integrated into the shell along with an expanded polystyrene (EPS) liner. HANS or other Head and Neck Restraint device anchor posts (not included) can be easily attached to the outside of the helmet using the installed M6 threaded inserts. The distortion-free 3mm polycarbonate face shield features an aluminum pivot kit, hand-ratcheting Tear-Off posts, and a silicone eye port gasket to seal out dust and dirt. A wide eye port provides excellent peripheral vision and allows for the use of personal eyewear. Extra cheek pads are included with each helmet to accommodate sizes 51, 52, or 53cm, covering the most popular size range for kids. The SFI 24.1 rating means that the Nomex® interior and paint are fire retardant, as well as the Kevlar® chin strap, making the RaceQuip PRO Youth Helmet suitable for use in all kids or Jr. motorsports series, sanctions, youth auto racing events, and even karting. The comfort-fit blended Nomex® interior, along with exhaust vents on the top and back of the shell.
