Chevron-1 Single Layer Fire Suit Jacket
The RaceQuip 131 series Chevron-1 single-layer SFI-1 racecar driver's fire suit jacket is designed with a stylish Euro design and is made from Pyrovatex® FRC material, exceeding the SFI 3.2A/1 rating. This fire-retardant cotton-based (FRC) material is chosen for its ability to retain the softness and breathability of cotton while efficiently wicking away moisture from the skin. The Pyrovatex® fabric is gentle and non-irritating, even for the most sensitive skin. The treatment process results in a shiny and supple exterior surface. Thanks to the Pyrovatex® process, which bonds a chemical agent with the raw cotton fibers at the molecular level, the suit will retain its flame-retardant properties throughout its useful life. It's important to note that while racing suits are sometimes referred to as "fireproof," all auto racing safety gear is actually "fire retardant." Pyrovatex® offers the perfect combination of flame and heat protection, durability, and comfort for the price. The Chevron-1 jacket is meticulously assembled using heavy-duty, multi-needle, overlock safety stitch machines to ensure exceptional seam strength. A Chevron pattern box quilting technique is utilized to create a unique and stylish look.
