Installing lowering springs on your OEM shocks can lead to several issues, such as poor ride quality, noise, and accelerated shock wear due to reduced available shock travel. TruHart Sport Shocks are designed with a shorter stroke and are engineered for use with TruHart Lowering Springs, but they are compatible with any spring that lowers the vehicle by at least 1" (they will not work with factory springs). Our shocks make use of your OEM top mounts and feature a twin-tube design that offers damping characteristics, providing a sporty feel that is still suitable for daily driving.
